Painter Sonoma County OLi Gallery
Christine Church
Christine Church studied art at Syracuse University, at the University of Massachusetts, and at the Van Gogh Institute in Amsterdam. She has been teaching drawing, painting and ceramics to school children in Sonoma County for more than three decades. She loves working with children and inspiring in them a love of the arts. Mentored by Carol Watanabe and her Art Tribe, her preferred media are acrylics, pastels and collage. Her favorite subjects are animals, portraits and natural scenes. Christine also paints portraits of pets, and illuminates the emotional connections between people and nature. Christine lives in Petaluma with her husband Dawson, surrounded by grandchildren and friends.
